Audigy 2ZS Platinum-Problem Help!

Hey everybod,
I have a little problem. I got a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS Platinum from a friend, but I already had the 2ZS sound card. I kept my 2ZS, and he just gave me the front panel I/O drive. I plugged that all in, but the front panel drive doesnt work, but the sound card works fine. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Should I just stick with his sound card, so they are matched, or does it matter if thay are mixed (It's the same card). Any ideas?

I'm willing to bet creative did something to keep people from doing what you tried, even if it has the proper connections, I doubt that they are working connections, I've got an Audigy 2 ZS and I know which ones you're talking about
 
Hey guys, I put on his sound card with the front panel, and it still doesnt work. This is really bugging me. Any ideas? I should probably tell you that the pins that the front panel plug into on the sound card are bent, but you can still get the connector on there. Besides, I dont think it would just totally not work. So, any help would be good.

Did you install all the nessecary software? So the pins are bent and not lining up with the slots? Or are then in the correct slots?

Hey. Yeah, i did install the software. I dont know if there is seperate software for the front panel though. And the pins are bent, but they are in the right slots, and ti wasnt hard to get them in right. Do you think it could be the cable between the front panel and the sound card?

So no one has any ideas? Hmm...Well, does anyone know the name of the cable that runs between the front panel and the sound card? Is it called the AD_EXT Cable?

Did I mention I have a power cord here, but dont know what to do with it? It doesnt plug in anywhere.

Can you please help, I have no idea what the problem is. The cable was broken, but we put it back together. PLEASE HELP!!!!! I need to get it working.
