Audigy 2 ZS worth?

Is there a big difference in the quality of sound between an Audigy 2 ZS and a Live! sound card?

Yes there is.
I compared when I bought it.

You will want to have semi good speakers or else there is not much point in getting one, unless you plan on upgrading.

Ya, theres a big difference i found, especially EAX support.

Decent speakers now days are approved by THX and Dolby Digital.
