Thanks for the advice, I think I'll keep it untill I find a good PCI-e card and get the money. 256 isn't really that much anymore, considering there are cards out with 730 or something.
I'm getting an E6300 soon, with a board that'll let me use all my current stuff
well,i say keep it for a while,I think that 256Mb on a card is enough for most games today....i dont think many games would use all 256mb of the cards memory but probably in future games like Alan wake and crysis they probably do use more.
Most games out now do use most or all of the 256MB available, and even some games like FEAR on ultra settings require a 512MB video card.well,i say keep it for a while,I think that 256Mb on a card is enough for most games today....i dont think many games would use all 256mb of the cards memory but probably in future games like Alan wake and crysis they probably do use more.
I said fear on Ultra settings, not high settingsI can run FEAR on high now with-out any problems at all, I thin it'll be even better with an Intel Core 2 Duo.

And I would keep you're x850. It's actually really cheap for the performance you get, and any newer model of the same price would be alot lower (performance wise). I remember selling my x850PRO and for the same price I could only get a 7600GS.
Ok Thanks, I'll keep it then!
Are the 939 AMD 64 x2 4200's any good?
