ATi Radeon HD 5670

I don't think the point is that it runs DX11, but that it's a great card for the money. It's probably too weak to run much of the DX11 effects as pointed out in the article.

the ebay builders don't care about that, to them an 8500 is THE WORLDS GREATEST GAMING CARD!! CAN SUPPORT THE LATEST DX10 GAMES :eek::eek: etc etc :P

hopefully more people start buying these, maybe it will drop the price on the 5770's, which i plan to buy.

Then again, i only play at 1280x1024, so the 5670 might do quite nicely for me. Because i am in australia, i can cans ee this card costing about $120 AUD, which is under what a 4850 costs.

I doubt it would perform as well as a 4850 though. It may be close, but still won't be quite as good I'd have thought.

A 5670 will be the upper lower end if you get me, and the low-mid range cards usually=the performance of the previous top mid-top end cards.

Rather than getting a 5770, would it not be worth trying to get the extra bit of money together to get a 5850? Much better performance for not a whole lot more (that is for the performance gain)
