Asus Xonar D2X, good or no?

just wondering, is the Asus Xonar D2X any good? and it is worth what it costs or is there a cheaper card that gives almost the same performance?

Personally...I don't think any sound card is worth $200. You can get a great sound card for under $100 or even less. I have a $40 sound card and it sounds awesome. Great highs all the way through the lows. With some Logitech speakers and it pounds.

Here is a review MAXIUMPC did and it got an 8 of 10 for a score. They had some issues with it.
