So I've installed my sound card and it's working great.
I'm wondering though, if I have to uninstall the realtek drivers thingy? I think those are the drivers which are for my on-board audio.

p.s. the sound quality of Xonar DX is significantly better than my on-board and is perfect for gaming and music :)
 
nope there's no real need to uninstall your sound drivers, but i WOULD deactivate the onboard sound in your device manager within windows.
