ASUS A8N-VM CSM onboard audio issues

just installed a fresh copy of xp pro onto my asus a8n vm csm motherboard, and audio is not working, tried getting drivers from ASUS' website, and it says this software is not compatible with the hardware

pretty sure asus still uses the realtek onboard audio

just make sure it's turned on in the bios first
