Assistance in Starting Out

Hello,
I'm a young adult who is going for computer science in the fall. I've been programming on an FRC team for four years now. I'm enjoying the programming but I want to learn more. I don't know where I should start to look since I want to learn about both hardware, software, networking, etc. I just don't know where I should look to begin since everywhere I've looked, it is only about programming but I want to learn as much as I can. If you would mind assisting me by just pointing me in the right direction or answering more questions, that would be amazing. Thank you. By the way, my name is Jon if you couldn't tell.

I am studying CS at uni :)

Just remember that programming is just a means to an end. The theory of algorithms, discrete mathematics and how it is managed is equally as important.

If you need any answers then let me know :)

I suggest reading up on hardware, the history of hardware, how it all works, etc. I'm a hardware enthusiast and I know the history of computer hardware pretty well all the way back to the first integrated circuits. Just because it interests me. It's come in handy as at work I'm the hardware guy now.
