When you lose your side panel....

Man up and make one out of shrink wrap and electrical tape.

And wouldn't cardboard be a little bit more supportive for those fans? Not to mention look a little better, plus you can poke some holes in for custom venting! :P

Maybe... and with cardboard I could even use some crayons to draw some sick flames running across the side:P.

On a serious note, the computer had a side panel, but it was badly bent out of shape, and after sitting in the basement for an extended period of time... it eventually got mistaken for garbage.

As I was cleaning last night, I figured somethings better than nothing, and created the masterpiece you all saw in the first post. And as far as wire management goes, I feel that messy wires give my computer character.

~The parts temperatures I can see with Speccy dropped 7-10°C. So that was a nice surprise.

If you think about it, side panel made put of shrink wrap is very easy to work ie you can add additional fans or vents at any time without a need of a drill etc.
