Hi
I have my network on Belkin Wireless Router is working ok, today I bought AP Wireless Range Extender - from Belkin as well.. Do I really have to connect them two (AP and router) with wire??? I prefer to connect them without wires, just wireless. Is it possible to do it with this hardware? or maybe i must buy something diffrent. what?

Well it is the explanation of the device.. specs and stuff..

"Wireless G Access Point F5D7130 Click to See Related Products
The Belkin Wireless 802.11g Network Access Point allows you to increase your wireless range or add wireless access to your wired network. It can be configured as a Wireless Range Extender, Wireless Access Point, or Wireless Bridge."

I believe it needs to be connected with a cat 5 cable... It just makes the wireless signal stronger.

"Increases your wireless range up to 200 ft.** (Range Extender mode)"

Yes, this is a problem, it have to be connected with cat5! but i dont want it!

But anyway, You think that if i will connect it with cable and put next to router this will increse wireless network range??

Should I give the same name of network (SSID) or different one (make two networks),

btw, why cant you connect to the belkin site?

in any case, the pdf i am referring to came in the box. its a quick installation guide for the wireless range extender.
