Anyone try the new jailbreak yet?

Ok, being more specific. Has anyone tried comex's new jailbreak for all iDevices (this includes iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad)

I had it, but then I screwed it up, now I have to restore and redo it, and not screw it up again...

Has anyone else tried it yet?

I used BlackRain for the 3.1.2 jailbreak on my 1st gen iPod Touch. Worked great! Gave me issues with my head unit though. I don't use it outside of my car so I just wiped it.
 
How would I actully jailbreak an iPod touch - it's OS2 because I CBA paying for update

Another thing - would it break my iPod? I really don't want to break it as it's the only thing I own that costs over £100 :/

Yeah, I used blackra1n for my first jb. It was a PITA, but I eventually got it. I kept it until the new jb came out.

It won't break your iPod, but you would no be able to jailbreak it with the new one. I will post back how you should if you want. The worst that can happen is that you lose all of your stuff on the iPod, which is why you just need to back it up first, so if that happens you can restore.

Edit- I actually have no idea how to jailbreak from beneath 3.0. You should pay the 10 bucks and get iOS4, (unless you have an original iPt, then you can only get 3.1.3)

Oh, and for anyone who is planning on jailbreaking, back up your blobs with umbrella first, just as a precaution.

just gotta wait for it to download :P

What iPod Touch generation do you have. And exactly what iOS are you on. I can help.

EDIT- Oh if your way of doing it, was not legal, I can tell you, the only way to do it is the legal way.

What you told me is actually the OS. Do you have volume buttons on the side? That will determine the generation.

EDIT- Oh how many gigs as well

Edit 2- You have the buttons I will assume. I will get back to you in a minute.

yh it 2g cuz it has volume button and 8gb (i couldnt afford a bigger one because it was by birthday and christaqms present and i had to pay for half of it :P)
