Right now I am experimenting with Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0. I can't do much with it unless I get my NAT firewall configured just right so it will allow connections from the outside world. I've got the web interface set up on port 81 and configured my NAT firewall to allow connections to port 1494 from the outside, but I still get errors at the connection in progress dialog like "There is no Citrix MetaFrame server configured on the specified address." I think that citrix depends on the RDP port since it's an extension of the terminal server. I've been told that it doesn't depend on that port. Please help me out with this one I've been working on it since 1 O'clock in the afternoon. I would love to get this working so I could show this off at school.

O.k. I figured part of the problem out. At my house we only have one IP address which is a pain in the butt. In order to access my MetaFrame web client I have to type the my fathers domain name with the port number EX: www.name:port. The problem with that is dns entries on that server don't point to the citrix server so I just need to figure out how to point dns in the right direction can someone please explain how to do this. Or the kind of records that I may need to add.
