There isn't a software that will make you type faster.It is how fast YOU are and NOT the computer.
Unless if you have a software which will write tons of sentences in one second on an active application such as NOTEPAD.But that is stupid unless you type the SAME text all the time every day lol.But I am pretty sure that is NOT the case lol so no...there is not a software to make you type faster.Unless if you find a software which thinks like a human brain and types a LOT of text in one second which would take YOU hours to type.But there is not a software so smart as a human brain so you are faced to practise your keyboard typing alone lol

your correct. Don't disagree. I do think and suggest learning about the speed of typing and how many letters. learning where the home keys could be an issue. Maybe the numeric keypad. Learn the home keys though. develop good habits.
Funny thing. Old mech keyboards. keys were diff then.
Then electronic and keys changed. from what i remember it was mech key arrangement was that way because you could easily slam the other key if quick and was the keys would stick together and collide. that was true. i remember. they were intentionally in that order to slow ya down so they would not slam and collide.
learning home keys is just a good habit. learn them now if ya don't know or you will
develop bad habits for speed. some of the proggys will at least be on top so you can see them while typing.

It's possible to type a lot faster on Dvorak, but learning a new keyboard layout of course has its issues. If you have a cheap keyboard, though, rearranging the keys won't be hard. However, if you absolutely have to type a lot, it might be a bit inconvenient. It took me about a week or two to get used to Dvorak (using both Dvorak and QWERTY) such that I could do anything useful, and having used it for several months my typing speed isn't much short of what I can achieve using QWERTY, though I've never gone through any actual typing training.
