Hi, I am very new to the Computer Forms, so please don't quote me or anything dis-respectful please.

I have a Hp Compaq 6910, and I want to know how to make it perform faster. I tried everything I know, and it changed the boot time, and speed of the computer by a couple seconds.

I have games on the computer, and I really don't want to delete them. I also have some other programs on it, that I also don't want to delete. I do not have a huge hard drive like 1 or 2 TB. I only have about 111 GB. And I think only 3.00 GB of RAM. It is only a 32 bit computer, and I want to make it run like really fast, not lightning fast, honestly I hate lightning fast computers. Sorry, but I do. I don't know why though.

And would anyone, please tell me how to make more "room" on my hard drive, like make more space. I am very conscious when it comes to deleting programs, because I am afraid that I will delete it, and then I would need it again.

Well, you could give Ccleaner a try and System Ninja. That will delete a lot of crap files on the hard drive and free up room. For stuff that you can archive I recommend 7Z.

Install StartupCPL and you can disable stuff that starts with Windows. When you install it it can be found in the control panel.

Sometimes certain anti-virus programs can slow the boot time down. What are you using?

I'm assuming you are using XP. You could compress the hard drive. I did that once and I couldn't boot my SSD anymore. I had to connect my SSD to a desktop and uncompress the drive. http://www.howtogeek.com/133264/how-to-use-ntfs-compression-and-when-you-might-want-to/

I am actually using a refurbished laptop, that runs Windows 7 Home Premium. And for my anti-virus, I am using Malwarebytes.
