Hi all!
I have been trying to delete something on Google Maps and can't figure it out. Perhaps someone here can help.

There is a blue dot with a flag in it that I need to delete. Originally GM got my address wrong, and when thet corrected it I was left with a second location that I don't need, or want. I have tried the Google Forum but they have been no help. So is there a way to delete that 2nd (unnessary) blue dot. I have looked all over GM but I don't see what I need.

Hi johnb35,

Thanks for the link, but as of this moment it hasn't worked. But, I will keep trying. The guys voice is a little hard for me to understand, and what he is telling me what to do doesn't really match with what I am looking at on my own Google Maps page. But, lke I said I will keep trying.

Are you using a phone or computer? If computer, open maps click on saved on the left then I assume it would be under labeled and then just remove that one.

Hi johnb35,

As far as I know this thread is in the Desktop section. I am using a Windows 11 desktop with Google Chrome as my browser. I will check out what you said and get back to you.

Hi johnb35,

OK it's fixed. Thanks for your help! I had tried what you said several times and I finally realized that I had to completely re-do my Google Maps page by starting over. Turns out I was looking at the same page over and over even though I had made changes. So, I started out new with a new Maps page and than I entered the correct info I wanted. Problem solved.

Thanks again johnb35 and have a good weekend.
