Another my speakers dont work

Well, I really need help on this one. I just put in a new HD and now I get no sound out of my speakers. This happened the last time i put in a new HD as well but I can't remeber how I fixed it.

Spearkers: Logitech X-230
Problem: No sound, donwload motherboard drivers, are there any logitech drivers I need?

Please help!

oh....then try to see if there are any logitec drivers and see if that works. if that doesnt work then i dont know. i would wait for someone else to come along that knows more than me
 
updated the audio drivers and still nothing. This happened last time too, but I can't remeber the fix. God this sucks.
 
go to start > settings > control panel > system. then click hardware, then device manager. extend the sound, video, game controller bit. now you should see the codecs and audio devices, the one you want is ac'97 or realtek or something like that. right click and click uninstall then click okay. restart your system and see if it works
