Ammo box computer case

Has anyone done this before? I was thinking about doing this the other day. My laptop is getting pretty old so I was thinking it would be cool to put it inside an ammo box and putting the screen on one of the sides behind some plexy glass.

You live in CA your problem isn't the feds, it is your state government when it comes to gun laws.

Plus Obama isn't going to gun grab, Democrats learned their lessons during the Clinton years, and it got them all voted out of office and gave us Bush for the Brady bill, which was part of the reason.

Yeah but that kind of thinking drives the idiot gun nuts to buy up and horde all the ammo and drive the prices of guns way up through the roof. I remember when you could buy an AR15 for $600 new in box, and now you are lucky to find one under $1000 because of people 'being scared of Obama.'

Magazines only hold so much ammo, and if there are lots of zombies you need ammo cases to store your ammo in.

Trust me, I have thought this through a couple of times.

it only works if the safety is off, and the gun is in a very public location, ideally for shotguns next to the crapper, and for rifles the kitchen table

I saw an ammo box at the markets one time, and it was the right size and shape for a computer case, but i didn't have $50 to buy it or the tools to modify it.
Do it if you can.

$50 holy crap, they are like $8 for surplus ones here at the surplus store.

yeah, that is called milsurp or military surplus and I got my last ammo can for 9 dollars. It is currently holding about 1200 or so random bullets for my guns.

Anyways, I am pretty sure I am actually going to do this. My laptop is a piece of garbage and so if i break it it's no big deal. I'll probably start next week if I have time, but idk yet; work's been crazy. I'll keep you guys updated :good:

Who needs guns when you have FINGER PISTOLS?! Mine knock 'em dead, don't know about you.

Army surplus stores sometimes sell "VIETNAM SURPLUS" when it's really just regulation material, and not actually used in vietnam. I think the 50$ one he got was legit, most surplus stores aren't though.
