AM3 DDR3 Motherboard's

I am looking to upgrade to an AM3 system, luckily there is no time constraint so I can wait til the platform matures a little. However in my general pre-shopping for computer parts to see whats out there I cant seem to find a motherboard that has AM3 CPU DDR3 Ram and 2 PCIe 2.0 (Dual x16) ports and have a chipset that supports SLI, typically only crossfire. I have looked at many sellers websites and some of the big mobo manufacturers and havent been able to find one.
I'm looking for one that can do Dual x16 on the PCIe ports because I'm not sure what it means when it runs 1x16 1x8 if you have to graphics cards in there. Would I be loosing performance of my graphics card if one of the slots is only running at x8?

This has been something that has been bugging me for a while and never was able to find a clear answer so any feedback is appreciated, as well as if you know of any motherboard that meets these specifications.

You could always get a graphics card that has 2 GPU's on the one board. the 9800GX2 for example if you're going with nvidia.

Year I think the graphics cards with two GPU's on one card are great for people that cant have two graphics cards. I found that most AMD boards are more on the ATI graphics idea but can you not use ati graphics? (unless u already have geforce cards)

amd boards

Well AMD does own ATI, but they still use Nvidia chipsets on some of their boards, which I'd hoped would support SLI. I dont have to have Nvidia but I do prefer them over ATI as far as perfomance goes, as well has how expensive they are comparative to one another.
