Always having to 'Repair Network Connection' to browse internet

Seems like every other time I use my wireless laptop to browse the internet, the laptop can not make a connection to the internet. It is only after I click on repair network connection that the internet works. Why? This laptop never leaves home or connects to any other network or wireless router.
 
may be a problem picking up an ip address. I have the same issue. do you have dchp turned off?

should it be off? Is that a router setting or the wireless card setting?
Turning it off will disarm my wireless security?
