If you want loud bass... yes they're worth it. Otherwise, look into some Logitech items.

looks very nice,but i agree with oscaryu1,i would go with a better pair of Logitech.

I tried at fry's, they are pretty good. if you want lots of bass then I'll go with the logitech thx. But those altec lansings are pretty good.
