Alienware/Nokia bluetooth problems

Hi Gang, a newbie here. I have just bought a Alienware M18X, but cannot get my Nokia N8 to pair with it. Yet it pairs ok with my old Toshiba Qosmio. Any one got any ideas please? Many thanks

What's the issue exactly? Try pairing your phone with another device. See if it's not the phone's problem.

Have tried the nokia with my Toshiba Qosmio, not a problem, there seems to be some hassle with windows 7 64 bit and Nokia. What a suprise there then

Have you tried plugging the phone into the laptop to let the drivers install...to see if that helps.

Does your laptop even have Bluetooth capabilities?
If so, download the Nokia utility for Windows from here:

It is the entire suite, that is all the nokia has so far as software for the phone has.

If that does nothing then you can try reinstalling drivers

If neither of those work it will be a settings issue or incompatibility between the phone and system, however as it worked with your other laptop, it is likely the former
