My Setup:
- Desktop Win2000, with SB Audigy Card (latest driver)
- The new RS Analog SPL
- Cable - 3.5mm Y 24' to RCA (My deskop is on the opposite side of the room)
- Rotel Receiver (coax, rca or Multi)
First big problem, I can get any sound (level) from the Line-In connected to a SPL metter, nothing on Left or Right???
- I tried the Mic with the Mic-input, it work .
- I tried the Mic with the Line-In, nothing.
Second problem, I get a big hum outputed by my speakers, Card Line-out with Cable to RCA input on receiver???
- If I change the output volume up/down on the card, the hum stay constant.
- If I unplug from the card, but leave connected to receiver, the hum goes away (so I assume it is not interference from the long cable).
Please help,
