ADDON router problem

I was using the BT Voyager 205 ADSL Router.
I have purchased the ADDON ADSL 4 port Router and have not been able to get onto the web.

Using http://10.0.0.2
In status:
PPP shows as not connected


Any ideas?
 
how are your connecting?
(ie: dsl router in bridge mode, addon router set to PPPoE and connecting/authenticating to your ISP,... or ... dsl router connecting/authenticating to the ISP, Addon router set as dhcp on the WAN port to the dsl router)

I know this is going to sound aweful but I do not know.

Please tell me how I could find out.

Thank you for your help.....I have been trying to fiddle with the settings for ages to get it to work to no avail!!!!!
 
Without writing a ton... Call your ISP and ask them how to set the router they gave you to Bridge mode. Then look in the manual of your addon and set it for PPPoE, input your login info for your ISP to the addon and you should be able to get through at that point.

Generally, your ISP will only help you with the router they send you. Your users manual of the addon SHOULD tell you how to connect to another router.

Just to be sure are you telling me to connect the ADDON router to the web via the BT Voyager router supplied by BT?
