Hi guys, my Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop will not start up at all and no lights even turn on when pressing the power button. I have tried taking off the back panel and unplugging the battery and starting it up with no battery connected, power cycling then plugging battery back in, removing and reseating the RAM and recently bought a replacement battery from Amazon and installed it and tried the same methods. When I hooked up the new battery from Amazon, there was a red light that turned on next to the power port on the laptop briefly (for maybe 2 seconds) then it went away and wouldn't come back on no matter what I tried.
About 6 months ago my laptop started overheating a lot, so I replaced the GPU fan and took off the back plate to replace the thermal paste on both the CPU and the GPU. However, there was 1 screw that was nearly impossible to get out in the back plate, and to get it out I had to twist the entire back plate around multiple times. Upon doing this, I believe it may have knocked some pieces loose and I have attached a photo with the areas circled and arrows pointing to them - shouldn't these areas of the motherboard (labeled U67020 and U67010) have the same 2 pieces like the other nearby slots have?
I had a local computer repair shop take a look and they were unable to solve the issue and could not diagnose it either.
This laptop served me well since 2019 and got *really* hot during many gaming sessions, so I suppose it's possible that something is simply fried on the motherboard... but it's a good laptop and I hope that it is salvageable. Here are the specs of the laptop and thank you to anyone who helps with this:
