A question about Audigy 2 ZS

Hey guys, I'd just bought an Audigy 2 ZS sound card and I'm stuck with a problem already. I have two DVD-ROM/burner drives, and none of them are digital, so I must connect them to my sound card via analogue cables. But there seems to be three analogue connecting ports with different names (TAD, CD_IN, AUX_IN), the instruction manual doesn't really tell you how to connect to two analogue drives, so I am confuse and clueless.

Here's how I connected my drives and sound card together:
- my master DVD ROM drive connects to the card via the CD_IN.
- my slave DVD Burner drive connects to the card via the AUX_IN.

OK, are those the right ways to connect them?

For extra info: I have a BenQ 16x DVD-ROM (master) and a Pioneer 8x 107D DVD writer (slave). I have the Logitech Z-2300 2.1 speakers; unfortunately they're not digital, 2.1 can never be digital I guess :(

Just to let you know, you dont need to connect your drives to the sound card to listen to music cd's. I believe that you connected them the right way, there are other ports/plugs on the zs to hook up an internal drive.

You only need to use them funky cables if you want to listen to music before the OS has really kicked up, after that point the audio data is conveyed across the IDE cable :) But to answer your question you can pop them into the CD_IN and AUX_IN line :)
