a good sound card for music

so i have the X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro Series sound card and was wondering if this was good for music? I know the most accurate reproduction of music is through optical and was wondering if someone could recommend a better sound card for music, hopefully something with optical cause i have z5500's which have an input for that. So any recommendation fellow music junkies

You don't need a good sound card for optical output as a soundcard doesn't do any processing for digital outputs. Your soundcard is probably fine with those speakers, I won't spend more money buying another card.
