a good psu?

Ok, I just read the PSU 101, and i now understand more of what makes a psu good...so now my questions is....is this a good psu for my new build (see thread in 'desktop computers.' http://computerforum.com/showthread.php?t=43087)

it has 2 12V rails, 20A on each. it's also 500W, and a very reasonable price.

Total +12V@29A - not bad for the price. It'll be fine to power your system.

if there are 20A on 2 +12V rails, wouldnt that be 40A? well,anyway, if it'll power my system, and it wont break/smoke and send sparks flying down from my case (althouhg a nice display it might be).
