7.1 games

i was looking at the creative labs gigaworks s-750 system. its a 7.1 system with 700 watts. seemed pretty impressive from what i can tell. but my question is, do they even make any games in 7.1 sound? im sure with the HD dvds and Bluray dvds coming out it could be usfual for that. but that wont be for another 2-4 years till those are affordable.

Nice explination:P ...but true.

It's pretty much marketing to keep teh consumer uying the most number of products he can, and therefore making a nice profit for the company. 7.1 systems are more expensive than 5.1s
 
It is basically for people with overwhelming amounts of money and they can spend like 20K on a computer. So they go through newegg and pick the most expensive stuff.

I have a 7.1 card oddly enough. I have 4 speakers. Pointless, yes.

ive got the creative labs 250d the 300watts rms and that is out of this world it really is worth getting if you like your music i was going to get the 7.1 but too many speakers if you ask me
