Anyone know where i can get an antenna, just an antenna, not a wireless card, i just need an antenna. All i can find anywhere is people selling actual cards with antennas, i only want the antenna, similarly if anyone here in the UK is selling one please let me know, i can bay by paypal/cheque.

Cheers, dragon

sorry, i should have clarified, i need the kind that have a long lead, say 1 meter or so.... kind of like this

that was just got from google image search. but that is the right type that you linked to.

The thing is i recently hd a shift around in the house and my signal strength has been shattered. Connection drops out every 15 mins or so, or whne i move my chair into the doorway, lol. so i figure instead of having a crappy 2 inch antenna behind my pc amongst shed loads of cables, i would get one on a longer bale so i could position it somewhere where it gets good signal.

i expect it would but i havent got a job at the moment, so i went the budget way, took me about 15 minutes, got an old metal coat hanger, cut it up into 2 x 1 foot long sections and attatched them both the the existing aeial at the back, they protude up and around the corner of my PC, thus giving them a clear passage into open air (where i presume there is still a good signal take a look at the signal strength....
