5.1 Surround sound

Hope you can help. Really do.

I bought a new 5.1 sound system for my pc, connected it via Optical cable etc, all working well but how do I make things run in 5.1 Dolby Digital?

I heard COD:WAW runs 5.1 but the speaker choice is greyed out??

Go into the computer sound settings and check thats enabled for 5.1

Check the game settings and check thats in 5.1
