5.1 speakers for ASUS AM3 890GX motherboard

After I get my computer fully completed, I'm interested in buying a 5.1 analog speaker system for it. No Bose but Logitch is fine and so is Lansing. NewEgg has barely any of a selection and was considering looking in Best Buy or Fry's Electronics sometime. Speakers should be wall-mountable, the surrounds of course.

EDIT: Plantronics is also fine. For video games and movies.

I'm guessing you'll be using onboard audio... I would recommend a decent soundcard (A creative x-fi or a xonar dg/st/stx) and some Audio-Technica ATH-AD700's or some AKG 701/702's

Depending on your budget.

No idea though. I was planning on using the HDMI in the future when I buy the XFX AMD HD 6950 2GB to receiver but I don't own one yet.
Not headphones. 5.1 Surround speakers. I'm just going to use the analog audio ports though. But I do want new headphones eventually. Since I prefer listening to FLAC/CD quality for music and for films it's going to be Blu-rays with lossless and uncompressed audio.
The speakers along with the headphones won't be until after my computer is fully finished. Might as well do the research ahead of time.

+1 for Creative XFi Titanium sound card i run this card on Logitech X540's (5.1) I am actually listening to music now and its sounding very nice. :)

I feel like your sound card shouldn't be more expensive than your speakers. It'd probably be better if you drop the money for some decent speakers before you go buying a sound card.

How much money do you have to spend?

Don't know until I get my computer fully completed. I was going to buy a new HT receiver. Lossless/Uncompressed supported, LPCM/DTS-HD Master Audio/Dolby TrueHD, 7.1 with 7/8 HDMI 1.4a receiver with two outs. But that'd be more complicated compared to just buying a 5.1 speaker system for the PC.
Fully completed should be around September or October. Maybe $150 or so perhaps? I'm still doing the research which I tend to do a few months ahead of time. Should be wall mountable speakers, well for the surround though.
It's actually damn funny I know way more about what I want to do for my small HT, it's in my room, compared to what I'd do for my computer.
I should see how good the analog speaker ports are on my motherboard before I buy a new sound card. I'll also be watching DVDs, HD DVDs and Blu-rays on my computer including playing video games.
