ive got the logitech 5300e 5.1 speakers and the creative audigy 2 zs sound card, i wanted to find out can i put in another 2.1 speaker system and plug it in to my card and play them all at tha same time is this possible, if it is it will be great

7.2 speaker system eh, wow. pretty good. anyway, quite simply, does your sound card have enough holes to fit all the speakers in in a correct setup if it does then go ahead and put em in and enjoy music but if it doesnt then..... im sure you can make the link here.

what you need is a 3.5mm to 2 3.5mm splitter...just plug it into one of the outputs and you will get and extra one...

i.e....if you want two sub out and only has one on the card then just plug this in and you get 2 sub outs...

thats what i do mang!!!

sound card holes dont really matter. My speaker are 4.1, and i only have to plug into 2 "holes" on my sound card to get all 5 speakers running.

i would kill for 2+ subs lol.

nope...2 subs aren't over kill...

also mattpower3000 is correct...buy a good splitter...ie if you do go with that option...because the cheap splitters get internally damaged over time...also i dont not recommend buying an adapter with the extended wire...get one that has all the ports on the same device

yea if radio shack is there...or just go to a local shop that sells audio stuff and ask someone there...just tell them what you need and they should be good enough to advise you whether or not they have it or where you should check

Ok, he has an Audigy 2 ZS soundcard which supports up to 7.1 surround sound. All you need to do is hook up the 5.1 speaker system like you normally would then plug the 2.1 system into the fourth hole on the soundcard.
