2 networks

I have a wired network between my desktop and my laptop that I set up to share files, and it works perfectly (router, not straight through). I also have a wireless network that enables my desktop to connect to the internet. But I cannot use both at the same time. How can I use both networks and enable the laptop to access the internet through the desktop all at the same time?

Well your network seems to be set up a bit funny, maybe its just my understanding. But if you have a wireless network setup, through what i assume is a wireless router. Then why do you have a seperate network for these two machines? Why the second wired router?

Anyway to specifically answer your question: You need to bridge the two connections

1. Because I didn't have another wireless adapter but I had plenty of cat 5/5e cables
2. Because it was set up before the wireless network and I didn't really want to mess with it

OK, I think I know how to do that

But your wireless router should have wired ethernet slots available
