I believe a new revolutionary style of Keyboard will be out next, like that LCD keyboard, but, much less expensive. $1,000+ for a keyboard is just overkill.
Wireless Power Supplies![]()
No more cords inside the case
Is that remotely physically possible? I would assume no based on what electricity is.
thats right! the only way electrical current can be wirelessly transferred is through use of magnetic feilds and induction coils, in which case one coil would be supplied with electricity, producing a magnetic field, which induces a current in the other coil. this process is too ineffcient, and the coils would have to be in close proximity anyway. also there is transfer of static electricity, (e.g. lightning), but thats a different story, and not applicable for this eitherit's possible but the two power cords would have to be sooooo close that it isn't even worth it, there is also a large amount of power lost between the two points
one thing that i've been looking at for a while is 3D monitors that don't require any geeky glasses to watch. just imagine playing a 1st person shooter where bullets and rockets zip out of the monitor and fly past your face.
the DSP chip has been developed by phillips and processes the image signal not just in two dimensions but also processes a depth map in the extra 'z' dimension. Microlenses are used on the monitor to give a certain point on the image a virtual focus point, tricking the eye into beleiving it is behind or in front of the monitor.
This technology is supposedly going to support fairly high quality images and frame rates too, and have a fairly wide feild of vision, without any of the 3D effects being lost.
google search it or explore this site to find out more:

I think this technology is one of the next big things!
what you reckon?
P.S.

according to the modern physics that I have been taught no information can possibly travel faster than the speed of light, except in newer theoretical scenarios approached by quantum mechanics that are not supported by any viable proof.s as the data transfer speed in cables is something like "The Speed Of Light"x10^5
But surely the next thing would be more interactive controls, Wii-Mote style.
